The three day NERETA Summit (April 27-29, 2016) on the topic of "Developing a Talent pipeline for Manufacturing in your region" was not enough time to provide regions with all of the information, tools and resources they will need to do a well-thought out strategic plan that is actionable. Therefore, NERETA is providing an eight session follow-up course to further support the goals of the conference, which is to help regions develop a collaborative strategic plan between workforce development, economic development, higher education and other interested parties to grow manufacturing in their region.  The concepts and processes from this course can then be used for other industries they may wish to grow.

This course is based on the work of the Competitiveness Institute (Barcelona, Spain) which bases much of their research and work on the writing of Dr. Michael Porter from Harvard Business School.

The course described below was introduced at the Summit on Friday, April 29th by Eric R. Hansen from the Economic Transformations Group, Inc (ETG) who reviewed Potential Pipeline Clog #1 with conference attendees.  In the course, he reviews this material and goes much more in depth in the first webinar of ths course series.  Then, every webinar builds on this information from a new highly regarded expert who teaches you and your team the next step in creating your strategic plan.  See the list of trainers below and the topics they will be covering.

A written workbook is made available.  And homework is offered to your team from each webinar to deepen the understanding of how to fix your local challenges and help accelerate your region's growth.

Participants are also be invited to join a Linked In group only for Summit attendees and post conference course participants so that they can share and learn from one another and the experts from the Summit!

The course for these webinars will be $159.00 for each webinar class.   Or you may purchase the entire course for just $799 for the entire 8 session course.
