Capacity Consulting

Capacity Consulting was founded in 1999 by Eric Egeland and has two main practice areas; Economic Development and Startups.

Our Economic Development area provides three main services:

1. Grants/Incentives – Finding, applying for, and managing various grants and incentives for both the public and private sectors.

2. Standard Economic Development Research and Reports – Feasibility Studies, Market Research, Economic Impact, Cost/Benefit, etc.

3. Ad-Hoc and Specialty Economic Development Research and Reports – When the engineers, lawyers, officials, ecologists, etc. have a unique need, this is an area Capacity really excels in. Examples include the Sullivan County Casino study ranking multiple counties to see which best fit the legislative criteria to be awarded a casino licensees; or a Site Potential study to determine the best uses of a site or best attraction or growth opportunities for a particular area.

Our Startup area provides five main services:

1. Feasibility Studies/Business Plan/Financial Projections

2. Funding Preparation so entrepreneurs can approach investors properly

3. Advisory/Assistance covering ANYTHING an entrepreneur might need to stay focused, from financial projections to vetting CRM systems, to finding an assistant.

4. Marketing Strategy to insure an ROI on marketing spend vs. “trying” things.

5. Sales Preparation including valuation, consulting, and brokerage.

Capacity Bookkeeping

Capacity Bookkeeping was founded by Eric Egeland and Rosa Stychek in 2015. It combines the expertise of a large web based accounting firm with the high touch and low cost of a local bookkeeper.
